Breakfast Television Segment – DIY Fall Aromas

If you love being crafty or want to try some easy eco-friendly ways to create Fall Aromas in your home, then these DIY projects are perfect for you! From homemade cinnamon scented pine cones, to tree log tea light holders, I came up with 6 easy and affordable ways to make your home so much more inviting and fit for the season. I went on Breakfast Television Calgary to show off some of the ways you can use items easily found around home to create some delicious smelling and beautiful looking Fall Aroma crafts. It was so much fun talking to Craig Larkins and being able to share these great DIY crafts, which we posted in detail about on the blog this week. If you missed them, check them out here:

One of the easiest ways to scent your home for Fall is to create a simmering pot of your favourite fruits and spices, which we demonstrated in our segment below. This is a great alternative to scented candles or potpourri, and works brilliantly to achieve the subtle but perfect blend of Fall aromas. The ingredients are completely open to alternatives, which makes it easy to use items you already have at home.

Try out these easy projects for yourself and let us know how they turn out. Have fun with it, they’re meant to be simple and affordable ways to add a personal touch to your home décor. Plus, you can feel good about recycling, composting, or reusing these crafts after the season has passed. The scented pine cones work great for winter and Christmas too! Feel free to share your own DIY Fall craft ideas with us on Social Media, we would love to see them!

Stay tuned for our next Breakfast Television DIY segment on Winter Warmers in November, where I’ll demonstrate some easy ways to create your own hats, scarves, and warmers for the cool weather.
